Week of July 20-26th

This summer seems to be flying by but with each week i look forward to reading your blogs about each book you have read! I can't wait to read a few of them myself. I appreciate everyone's feedback and i hope you are enjoying your summer to the fullest.

    "Crossing Oceans" by Gina Holmes...excellent book for Christian fiction fans...

    "Heart of the Matter" by emily giffin...just an OK read..dont like anything that sorta glamorizes adultery or puts down stay at home moms...

    The Road" by Cormac MacCarthy...one of the most grim of all books! What a downer!

    "A Kiss of Shadows" by Laurell K Hamilton. The first in her Merry Gentry series about a faerie princess who has been in hiding but now must try to take her true place in the Unseelie Court. I previously read Hamilton's Anita Blake series, and I thought I would not like the Merry Gentry series as much. Well, I was wrong. Hamilton has created a fabulous alternate reality world where humans are aware of faeries. A great read.

    "Seduced by Moonlight" by Laurell K Hamilton. Merry Gentry's adventure continues with lots of action, suspense, mystery, and some sexiness thrown in there as well. I'm hooked and probably won't sleep much until I finish the series.
