Great twist at the end, unexpected and logical.

You don't have to read the other books in the series.

    1. What an interesting name for a book! Did the book reveal what slug bread is?

  6. Ransom by Julie Garwood
Not as good as the first book in the series, The Secret. However, I enjoyed it as it was set in Scotland.

    Lethal by Sandra Brown
Really enjoyed this one as I usually do of all of her books. Great romantic suspense novel.

SEALed Forever by Mary Margret Daughtridge
This book has interesting depth into the social lives of Navy SEALs. I think the author's insight into their lives as provided by real SEALs is what made this book an very good read. Of course there is a typical love story as well. Good read.

  7. Lord Change My Attitude Before It's Too Late by James Macdonald

This book was SO great!!! It basically takes you through replacing different negative attitudes with particular positives ones (one example is one chapter would be "Replace a Complaining Attitude..." and the next chapter would be "...With a Thankful Attitude"). I loved how powerfully simple yet such depth this book had, and how it clearly identifies different attitudes needing to be confronted and dealt with head on. I have got to find more things by him, I heard a little of him speaking on American Family Radio and it was incredible....but I am ONLY finding this one book in all of your library system when it looks like he has authored 12 or more books. Maybe I need to request it in order for another book of his to be on hand for others to read and enjoy as well...powerful writer, powerful subject matter!!!
