Hello everyone, and welcome to the 2011 Adult Summer Reading Program Blog!
I hope you all are excited about the program and I look forward to seeing all the books you all will read this summer. Here in the first post, we're going to lay out the rules, directions, and of course, the prizes!
The program will begin June 27th and run through August 6th. We will have 6 weekly drawings for a $10 Walmart gift card and 1 final grand prize drawing for a $100 Walmart gift card. While the official program ends August 6th, we will collect entry forms until August 9th so you can have 6 solid weeks of reading.
The Directions are straightforward:
1. Register for the program at your local branch.
2. Fill out an entry form for each book or audio book you finish reading starting June 27th at your local branch.
3. There will be a weekly posting every Wednesday here on the blog. You can receive an extra entry form for each book if you submit a comment about your book to that week's posting. In your comment, please include your full name AND the branch that you registered at, so we can be sure to contact you if you win.
4. Each week will run from Wednesday to Tuesday. Our first drawing will be July 6th and our final drawing as well as our grand prize drawing will be on August 10th.
The more you read, the better your chances!
